Branding Photography Session in Downtown Detroit

There is nothing like doing a brand photoshoot with a woman who you not only look up to as a fellow entrepreneur, but is also your friend! Branding photography is easy when clients come to us with a well-established brand as Katie has. Katie is the founder of Market G Social House. They specialize in services like Instagram management, content creation, and copywriting. Not only is Katie a complete boss in owning her own business but she runs a podcast called, Spilled Milk. She’s well known for her Instagram page @wanthoneywiththat. Where she talks about body positivity, showcases spots around Detroit, Michigan, and just has out loud fun!

What Branding is All About

During our brand photoshoots, there is nothing we love more than amplifying someone’s authenticity for the whole world to see. I’d say we accomplished just that with this content shoot for her podcast, Spilled Milk. We started our shoot in downtown Detroit where Katie could get her boss lady persona on and quite literally spill some milk. It was a thrill to see Katie’s personality come out as she stood on a potholder letting it all go. With an outfit change, we headed to a nearby cafe to get some shots with her mic and a scrumptious croissant. Katie really emulated what it means to look like a snack in these photos and we could not be more proud!

Connection is Key

Being a Detroit photographer, I’m always so impressed by how many locations you can get within the city. We opted for a couple laid back shots near the water in her comfy, Detroit Honey crewneck, and some killer shades. Katie is truly a gem of a person and our team could not have gotten luckier. Her personality really shined throughout this entire session.
